Both commercial and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Autonomous Insulin Delivery systems (AIDs) have failure states and dangers (including too rapid change in control, suspend ranges, settings changes, etc.). This is a very important event by a true advocate and industry/DIY T1D.
Dr. Rayhan Lal is an incredible doctor and endocrinologist and T1D! He is affiliated with Stanford University Healthcare and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
“I grew up in the east bay area and have had type 1 diabetes for 30+ years. I studied electrical engineering and computer science at U.C. Berkeley (Go Bears!) with the hope of applying my knowledge to diabetes technology. The significance of clinical practice became clear to me after my siblings also developed diabetes. I am devoting my life to advancing the care of diabetes in people of all ages.”

Zoom Please join us for a virtual build party! We'll build Loop Master/FreeAPS using the Build-Select Script (we will not be building a Dash® compatible version of Loop). You can follow along on your own Mac, and we can help troubleshoot any build errors.
If you'd like to participate, please make sure that your
1. Apple Developer Account is up to date and there are no agreements that need to be signed.
2. Looping phone's iOS is compatible with your Mac's OS and Xcode by checking Version Updates. For example, if you're using iOS 15.5, then update your Mac to OS Monterey and Xcode 13.4. Please do not underestimate how long it takes to download and install Xcode. Don't forget to install command line tools and reboot your Mac. Even Loopers with newer Macs should allow a full day for Xcode.
If your Mac is too old to update to Monterey, some of our community members have successfully used this video to update their OS.

Due to a data breach, Salesforce reset all Heroku users' passwords starting on May 4, 2022. If you ...
1. Ignored the email from Salesforce asking you to reset your password, and
2. Were confused by the inability to update Nightscout by going from GitHub to Heroku,
then you'll be happy to know the GitHub-Heroku issues have been resolved. It's time to log into Heroku by clicking "forgot password" and setting up a new password.
If your current Nightscout version is lower than 14.2.5, then click on the Updating NS link below to update your Nightscout site.
