Apple Updates
|
|
iOS 16.5 and macOS 13.4 were released on 18 May. We have successfully built Loop, Loop Caregiver, and Loop Follow using these versions with Xcode 14.3.
You do not need to rebuild Loop when you update your iOS. However, when it is time to update, if your Mac is too old to be updated to iOS-compatible versions of macOS and Xcode, be sure to check out the Browser Build method.
Not sure how to know what versions are compatible? Check out our Version Updates page. We recommend bookmarking this page, as it's usually updated within a few hours of a new release.

Pro Tips: Sticky Situations
| |
One of our savvy loopers shares how he keeps his gear on during sweaty and swimmy times... and then how he gets it to come off easily when he wants it to. He dabs Skin Tac directly onto the sticky surface of his sensor/ pod, lets it dry for a minute, then applies the device to his skin. He also tries to avoid getting the device wet, even from sweating, for a few hours after application, to allow the adhesive to fully set. To remove, he uses an adhesive remover, such as TacAway or Uni-Solve, applied to the tape areas of the devices.
